AuthorityAlerts turns FMCSA's public registration, authority and insurance data into a daily lead list for the vendors who serve new trucking companies — insurance agents, factoring companies, dispatch services, ELD vendors and compliance providers.
AuthorityAlerts is built and operated by Central Florida Software, an independent software company based in Central Florida. We build practical tools for the trucking industry, and AuthorityAlerts came from a simple observation: every carrier's most important buying decisions happen in its first weeks of authority, and the public record announces exactly when those weeks begin — but in a form no sales team can work directly.
Every morning we ingest FMCSA's public datasets — the carrier census, authority histories and insurance histories — detect what changed, classify each carrier into a lifecycle stage (from a fresh USDOT registration through granted authority to a pending insurance cancellation), flag filing-agent contacts that won't reach an owner, and deliver the result as filtered email digests by 10:30 AM ET, with an API and webhooks on team plans. The full methodology is on our data page.
We believe the market data itself should be public and legible, so we maintain free daily statistics for every state, a permanent monthly archive, a plain-English glossary of FMCSA terms, and guides to working new-authority data. Cite any of it with a link.
Reply to any email AuthorityAlerts sends you and it reaches us directly. Carriers who want their public record excluded from our deliveries can use the removal form — requests are honored within one business day.
